Certificate Details
The CRVIC provides candidates with in-depth knowledge of climate risks and regulations, transition finance, asset classes, alternative investments and portfolio management. The certificate is structured around five broad topic areas:
When enrolling with CFA Institute you have the choice of studying in a cohort with fixed timing or as a self-paced candidate.
Whichever study option you select, along the learning route you will have regular mandatory assessments, peer-reviewed assignments, as well as a full-length exam at the end.

Quartic specialises in personalised one-to-one candidate mentoring. Our tutors have gained the CRVIC themselves and for decades have been supporting, guiding and coaching candidates to succeed in certificates and exams. Each mentor is also a CFA charterholder, allowing them to provide you with background financial explanations where needed.
As you make progress through the certificate you will need to achieve a pass score in regular tests and write peer-reviewed assignments (as well as grading someone else’s). There is also a 60-question timed exam at the end.

Quartic’s Premier support for CRVIC costs £1,500 plus VAT. For this you receive unlimited tutor support from the day you register until you have succeeded in achieving the certificate. Although most candidates will be studying for four to six months, we will maintain support as long as you need within your CFA Institute completion window, which is currently 12 months.
